Media Naranja restaurant branding

With a name that translates directly to “half orange” – one would think that the color would spearhead the identity. However, designer Javier Garcia shirks that obvious solution for one that’s much more interesting. The brand identity for this taco shop based in San Francisco is a celebration of chalk-like line art, and Mexican street style typography. The combination of which, with the addition of fun Spanglish one-liners, conveys the hand crafted, organic-focused experience perfectly.
