Its rare that I come across a project that I feel compelled to post immediately, yet here I am doing just that. Jon Contino’s work is at the forefront of the handcrafted, illustration-focused design movement, and work such as this is the reason why.
The brand identity for Pedal House Brewery, a Tempe, Arizona-based brewery/restaurant that leans on cycling as inspiration, is an exercise in visual metaphors and mnemonic devices that trigger a smirk when viewed. The typography and illustration styles synch up naturally and deliver a crafted vibe.
