Creating a restaurant brand based in New York City is daunting. Talk about fierce competition. However, when you leverage bright, nearly fluorescent oranges, it gets a little easier. The Cibo is a deli based in NYC with a wide variety of food options ranging from burgers to noodles and many things in between. The diverse nature of the offering is expressed wonderfully in the logo. Multiple type styles are employed in the logo to creates a representation of options in a way that’s fresh and memorable.
The brand’s identity and visual language extends by leveraging fun black and white illustrations and black and white photography. The photography and illustrations interact with letterforms making compositions fresh, modern, and fun.
