The brand identity for Castelletti is simple with nods to classic design techniques in layout and symbolism. Relying heavily on the typography, the brand explores brilliant combinations of type in strong layouts. The color scheme is earthy mirroring the interior experience. The descriptor line of this restaurant brand is “Salumerie & Pastisserie.” For those who don’t know, a Salumerie is a shop for cured meats and a Patisserie is a shop for sweets. I think if we were to use a more american term we’d probably label this brand a bistro. But I like the sound of the accurate names more.
