Tokyo Cafe branding

Marlon Mayugba, a designer based in the Philipines, designed this subdued, yet strong brand identity for a cafe. The identity extends excellently throughout multiple touch points including packaging creating a common graphic language while remaining unique to each piece. What really stood out to me was the crafted letterforms that spelled the name in English, but took influence from the Hiragana alphabet’s letterforms. Well crafted and great design.
