Melding the new and old is a tough ask. It doesn’t always come out as one would expect. However, when executed properly, the look is magnetic. That’s what the team at HERE has done with the identity for Little Italy, a restaurant and pizzeria based in Jordan. Heritage anchors this look in history, while fresh typography allows it to exist in modern times without looking like a Mom-And-Pop shop. What’s especially interesting is the design of the crest and seals that are applied throughout many touch points in ways that make the touch points sing. In this way, each area of the brand has its own feel and vibe while still being rooted in the core Little Italy brand.
