Buffalo Proper is a prohibition-inspired restaurant and bar in downtown Buffalo, New York. Instead of going for the underground secretive speakeasy kind of look, they opted for full-blown Roaring 20’s glitz and glamour. There is a plethora of Art Deco-inspired patterns and illustrations to be found in several touchpoints of the brand. And there’s gold foil, lots of gold foil. It’s intricate and refined, and somewhere Jay Gatsby himself might go get a cocktail.
