3rd Sign Brewery takes its name from the zodiac symbol Gemini, the third sign, signifying duality. Continuing this theme, each beer they put out features its similar-but-different twin. Nathaniel Pustaver captures this idea beautifully in his illustrations and packaging, creating labels that share similar visual tropes and themes, feeding off of each other as a pair. That doesn’t mean, however, that a singular bottle isn’t beautiful on its own. The attention to detail in each of these illustrations and the use of color and pattern gives each one a sense of being something you’d see in a fever dream; loud and busy but you just can’t look away, exploring each delicious detail of the linework.
