Curio demanded a careful reimagination due to its location next to a legendary music venue in the Mission District. Bootjack Creative worked closely with interior designer Michael Brennan to tie in the occult and black magic of the late 19th century with accurate, borrowed ephemera. For example, a custom cocktail menu inspired by the Curio (a cabinet of curiosities) features mythical creatures from around the world. The design is heavily influenced by vintage circus posters and psychic signage.
