Jackson’s Bluff Restaurant Branding by Vigor

This post was written by Nick Longo of Longo Designs.

Jackson’s Bluff is a gritty yet comfortable rooftop bar experience atop the Crown Plaza in North Augusta. The goal was to create something a bit usual, not you’re typical stuffy scene with no defined concept or theme.

Vigor created a place you can easily enjoy with a fusion of campy wit, vintage area maps, and rural wood textures. Inspired by the founder of Augusta Urquhart Jackson, the rooftop location takes on the role of a “look out” where you can scout out good times ahead. Supporting this theme is a rooftop icon with its hand-drawn vibe and supporting secondary marks to enhance the overall ambiance.

The menus and supporting collateral reinforce this theme with local maps, rustic typography, and adventurous line art illustrations. I especially love the wilderness-inspired animal photography that blends so nicely with the rest of the branding system. Throw in some applewood crafted menus with custom etching and you have a memorable and brave brand experience.
