Don Shula’s Steak House is a nationally recognized fine-dining restaurant with a 30-year legacy here in the states. The star power of if namesake, legendary NFL coach Don Shula, helped attract their core customer base during that time. However, as their audience has matured and they’ve attracted younger guests who may not be as familiar with the name, that star power waned. Temper was tasked with re-introducing the Don Shula’s experience to the next generation and shifted the identity, brand narrative, and overall experience to match. They developed a brand story that moved away from celebrating Don Shula’s achievements in favor of honoring the coaching philosophy that brought him success; careful execution, high-standards, and practicing to perfection.
