h3l™ Studio created this identity and space design for Isla Kitchen Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Isla means Island, and this definition inspired Isla’s deep stylistic roots in cartography and botanical encyclopedias. The overall approach is to generate a metaphorical juxtaposition between gastronomy and the scientific approach to space, geography, and vegetation. Isla reveals itself in a technical-visual environment that plays on every interaction between the brand and the consumer. The illustration style, typography, image montage, and colors are curated in a way that invites people to discover new interpretations and definitions of both food and the act of eating itself.
