Le Condé is an upscale hotel bar that pays tribute to French historical figure Louis, Prince de Condé. The prince’s extravagant life at the Château de Chantilly rivaled that of Versailles, and this pomp and frivolity is echoed across the lushness of this brand identity. Historically-inspired typography harkens back to the Baroque era and it’s high-brow sophistication, brought down a peg by crude illustrative work. The main brand color, too, is a historical reference; the brand’s signature pink color isn’t simply on-trend, it’s referencing the Conde Diamond, which is pink in color.
