Waste-Not Kitchen Branding by Tried and True

Waste-Not Kitchen Branding by Tried and True

Food waste is a real problem in the world right now and we love when brands not only step into doing great designs but when they do it for great causes. Waste-Not Kitchen is the perfect example of that. With the incredible opportunity provided by New Zealand’s current stats of food that ends up going to landfill, this brand has made its mission to repurpose some of these ingredients and created a sustainable brand of soups that operate as a “buy one- give one” to help people in need around their community. Tried and True was a key partner in this process helping them develop their brand and packaging to be desirable to the consumer and to serve as a peak of hope for those who hunger.

Maria is a designer, creative, and human currently working at Vigor where she creates amazing branding and marketing alongside her extraordinary team. After leaving her hometown Bogota, Colombia, she ventured herself to the humid lands of Atlanta, GA. Where she is growing professionally and personally. Being a type 4 on the enneagram she sees life and creativity as a way to catalyze the world's beauty and strives to create things that arouse emotions in people, or at least a giggle. In her free time, she loves being outside, creating collages, and indulging herself in art, design, and anything creative that enhances her romantic views of the world.
