Caffé la Tana Branding by Glassfurd and Walker

It’s incredible how walking into a space can immediately transport you not only to a different place but a different time. That’s exactly what happens every time someone walks into Cafe La Tana, a small little grocery, cafe, and restaurant, inspired by Italy’s grocers and cafes from the 19th century.
La Tana translates from Italian ‘the den’, which evokes little family-owned hole in the wall diners in Italy. This place was a thorough collaboration between interior design Canadian studio Ste Marie, and Glasfurd and Walker design studio. Every single little detail about this brand is design to make you feel like you just stepped into a universe that stopped in time full of comfort, familiarity, and beauty.
