The weekend is just out of reach, so don’t mind me, I’ll be over here daydreaming about the summertime sippers I’m planning on having this Memorial Day weekend. Speaking of swoon-worthy drinks, this series of rebranded and redesigned cocktail mixers has me doing just that. Originally conceptualized as Be Mixed, a zero-calorie zero-sugar mixer, Swoon Mixers features an entirely new look and vibe. Funky, groovy typography acts as the brand logotype and really drives home the concept of ‘mixed’ drinks. Gorgeous, rough-around-the-edges illustrations and patterning play off the clean lines of the brand type and visually suggest the unprocessed nature of the product’s ingredients. Compared to what I can find at my local liquor store, this combination of type and illustration would really stand out on the shelf. My favorite part of this case study, and what really brings it all together for me, is the lifestyle photography. It really carries the brand voice and puts the product front and center, painting the perfect picture of the kind of patron that Swoon Mixers is for.
