We don’t feature lot of bar-nightclubs here on GXG because a good amount of them lack a strong brand. Cortex is most certainly not lacking in that department. Cortex, named after the part of your brain that stores memories, was founded to celebrate the music of the early 2000s, and has a distinctive new-millennia vibe to it. It’s meant to be a nostalgic escape for young adults who came of age listening to alternative music from this time period, and features sophisticated takes on punk-rock tropes across its visual identity.
