Anthropomorphized high class characters are rendered in pen and ink and framed in bone colored classic frames to set an almost tongue-in-cheek poke at highfalutin restaurants and bars of old.  The gang at Thinking Room pulled inspiration from the past and made it into a fresh experience for a restaurant brand that’s unique and fun. Their explanation goes a little further down the … rabbit hole. (Couldn’t resist.)

The name Jackrabbit derives from John Dillinger, an infamous gangster during America’s height of prohibition in the early 20th century. We decided on a design direction that was a satire against the stereotype of each communication component. The end result can be seen in the logotype, stationery, writing instruments, poster, copywriting, and environmental graphics we designed for this destination restaurant and bar project. An end result that brought together all the mediums and communicated sarcasm that left one feeling odd, but craving for more of the same.
