Souva serves Greek food in Seoul, Korea that positions itself as a modern street approach to classic Greek food. Avoiding many of the tropes that run amok in the Greek category, the overall look incorporates gritty street art, bright and bold colors, and wheatpasted imagery. Greek touchpoints come into play by the use of the flame in the logo, and certain details added to the typography. To further the idea of the street outside brought inside, the interiors feature concrete, metal, neon, chainlink fencing, and other construction materials. I especially love how the menus feel like newspapers; large and unwieldy, but saturated in exciting color and images.
