Hakata-Maru is a ramen place in Australia but it’s original from Fukuoka, the place that gave birth to tonkotsu ramen. The most incredible thing about their new venue in Darling Square is that it was conceived as a whole, working with interior designers and architects and designers to make out of this restaurant a pretty unique space. The brand design was inspired in the work of Japanese artist Mori Yūzan and his organic patterns and it resembled very traditional Japanese symbols like the use of black, white and red.
We love how this brand interacts with the space it lives in and plays with textures, materials, and graphics to create a perfectly balanced and appealing experience.
