I personally love large, cohesive brand experiences, those that carry a concept through multiple facets of a space or a process. For Bathhouse, a modern-day sweat house in NYC, Savvy Studio left no stone un-branded. From the large mural that graces the sauna to the tiny, understated wayfinding throughout the space, Bathhouse is full of reminders, big and small, of Bathhouse’s four main pillars: a cross-cultural interpretation of comfort, transformation, relief, and healing. This all culminates in Bathhouse’s restaurant, where a guest can grab a bite and sit a spell after their spa day. The menus here are as clean and crisp as the towels on the spa side, and the interior is set up in a way to encourage camaraderie and community among the guests. I haven’t visited NYC yet, but this is definitely on my list.
