Craftsman & Wolves’ Mysterious Branding

Pastries and mysteries don’t always go hand in hand, but San Francisco bakers Craftsman & Wolves certainly have managed to create drama around their daily sweet and savory offerings. Influenced by the work of Chen Design, Craftsman & Wolves do and present things a little differently than your typical bakery. The environment inside the shop is directly influenced by industrial concepts with granite black, stone and metal throughout. The stripped-down interior creates an interesting juxtaposition between the hard elements and the soft presentation of the baked goods inside Craftsman & Wolves. The name itself, while mysterious, is rooted in the life of an artist: as a craftsman, challenges are faced nearly daily in the pursuit of a lifestyle within creation. The entire concept works extremely well, marrying opposing viewpoints all in the name of selling a really delicious cake or confection.
