Alvin Diec has been building quite the niche for himself here in Atlanta that’s spearheaded by the celebrity chef, Ford Fry’s many notoriously awesome restaurant concepts. Diec’s unique style, a mix of classic style illustration and superb traditional typographical treatments, has become Fry’s signature look. I’ll be sure to post more of his work, but for now, we look at some of his older work. This one was done for Restaurant 246, also in Atlanta. With simplicity and elegance, Diec captures the old fashioned inspired restaurant experience through menus, logo, marketing and various touch points throughout the interiors.
