Christian Knopf’s design work for La Castagnas Trattoria uniquely melds the old world with a new style. By stylizing excellent photography with rustic filters and treatments, Knopf creates a nostalgic look without making it look cliche or dated. It captures the essence of today’s Italian trattoria quite effectively. The use of chalkboard anchors the restaurant’s identity to a true trattoria experience. The pops of bright green captures the new, fresh flair the restaurant brings to the cuisine.
