As a designer, I’m always looking for the newest work out there for inspiration and maybe a bit of envy. Our world is so full of superb designers with new ideas and fresh thinking. Where do I find myself going on the daily for fresh, new branding inspiration? Well here’s a short list of some places I like to visit:
From Up North / www.fromupnorth.com
From Up North is a curated blog of inspirational galleries from photography to packaging design, logos to motion graphics. It’s updated frequently by designer Daniel Nelson
The Dieline / www.thedieline.com
The Dieline is THE spot to go to for package design goodies. It’s been around for a long time which means there are tons of archives to delve into and enjoy.
Identity Designed / www.identitydesigned.com
What I love about identity designed is that they go in depth into the process on each project posted. It’s not just about the end results. They show the support work and thinking that goes behind the design work. It’s not updated frequently as each post is so in depth, but it’s worth checking out often.
Graphic Exchange / www.mr-cup.com/blog.html
Fabien Barral is a designer with such a unique look about his work. His blog is a constantly updated gallery of delicious design work.
DesignWorkLife / www.designworklife.com
Finally, Design Work Life is a blog by the brains at Seamless Creative. It’s updated on the daily with all sorts of good stuff from typeface showcases to branding projects of all kinds.
