If you live in Atlanta, you know about Ford Fry and his many restaurants. The guy behind the brand identity design for a lot of his restaurants is Alvin Diec. His unique style of design is a meld of lo-fi, handrendered goodness. The Optimist is one such project by Alvin where his style really shines through. Each element of the restaurant’s identity is different and has its own design/feel, but collectively they add to an overall vibe that’s fresh and new.
