Roryk Jensen, a designer out of Seattle, created the brand identity for Barrell Bourbon from logo through packaging and other touch points. As a cofounder he was lucky enough to have his vision be THE vision of the brand. What’s great is his vision is pretty darn awesome. Here’s how he sets up the project:

I helped start a spirits company: Barrell curates the world’s finest barrel-strength spirits and each small batch is entirely unique. You can find batches 1 – 3 of Barrell Bourbon on shelves and online now, and batch 1 of Barrell Whiskey is coming soon. I’m responsible for branding and package design.

I really enjoy the brand mark for the bourbon. It’s a combination of two barrel formations overlapping in an almost bee-like striped design. It’s quite memorable and plays well with the hexagonal “B” mark found on the bottleneck label.
