Mula is a self-proclaimed street-style Mexican restaurant and Tequileria located in Omaha, Nebraska. The design team took cues from historic Mexican iconography and visuals to craft a step into a taste of Mexico. The subtle design decisions are what really tie the brand together. For instance, the brand mark is a mule illustration set in a graphic element reminiscent of currency security marks. After all, “Mula” is slang for money, too. This idea of vintage and Mexican currency informed the rest of the brand from menus through interior design elements and into web.
