Bárcena is a bar located in the middle of Mexico, in Guanajuato City (an interesting fact I just learned is that the city also houses a large collection of naturally mummified bodies in a local museum, who knew.) The branding and perhaps the interior was done by Estudio Momoka in Mexico City.
I don’t know too much about the bar other than what you see below. The menus are beautifully executed neatly on colored paper as well as the business cards. I really like the large margins and use of negative space. The typography is super clean and I love that they pulled the A out of Bárcena and used that as a graphic element. It seems that Estudio Momoka has also contributed in the interior design which feels very moody and mysterious. I also love a good neon sign guys!
