Abraham Lule designed the branding for this Mexican barbecue restauant called Berraco. I am inspired by the way he stayed away from the expected pig decor that understandably covers every barbeque joint I’ve ever walked into.
Inspired by Native American culture and the classic story of “Cowboys and Indians” this identity has an amazing color scheme and the logo is especially clever. The logo features forks, bbq ribs, a brisket and flames from a fire place, it keeps me intrigued and wanting to take it apart and put it back together again.
The attention to detail is what pulls this whole design together. The gold foiling and the thin lines and pattern work is simply beautiful. I’m also obsessed with the bright green backdrop making the menu pop.
