Tad Carpenter (otherwise known as Carpenter Collective) created Boehme’s Batch branding and toffee packaging for his Grandpa Bill Boehme. His toffee is a craft he’s perfected over the decades, making his toffee for family and friends. The secret to his delicious treat? Apparently, stirring “them ingredients until it’s the color fo a squirrel’s eye in heat.” Regarding the design, Carpenter says this:
The Boehme’s Batch logo system was an easy one to figure out. Chef Bill is proud, cheerful and a little nutty. He been perfecting this recipe for nearly 40 years. Naturally, we knew Bill needed to be the company’s hero.
