Dimdimsum is a dimsum shop in Taipei with roots in Hong Kong. It’s visual language takes inspiration from Hong Kong street signage, crowded with typography and illustrations of various sizes and detail. Dimdimsum also uses kung fu postures, both in their mascot ‘Kung Fu Master Pig’ and in photos of their chefs, as a visual metaphor to represent their skilfulness. Another detail to note:
In order to highlight that every dimsum served in Dimdimsum are hand-made by kitchen masters, all the dishes shown on the menu, name card, table mat and other related prints are hand painted to present its delicacy. The diligent spirit of cooking is conveyed to our patrons through the overall visual design of the brand.
