La Planque Branding & Packaging by Jean Phillipe Choquette

La Planque is a whiskey packaging concept by Jean Phillipe Choquette, playing off the idea hiding alcohol in plain sight. La Planque translates to ‘the hideout’ or ‘the stash’, and Choquette plays with keeping an object’s formal shape so one can inconspicuously sip their favorite spirit. For this particular model, he takes an old inspection lap and replaces the contents of the lightbulb with whiskey, and engineers a wooden twist cap to work with the receptacle. It’s a humorous and ingenious approach to upcycling packaging.
