Bitter Southerner “Hot, Sticky and Sweet” Photography & Art Direction by Tim Lampe

It’s National Donut Day! Time to ride the karma train! In all seriousness, donuts are one of those delectable desserts that I can personally never say no to. So today, and to end your week, we’d like to spotlight some sweet photographic styling of some of the bigger names in the donut biz by the oh-so-talented Tim Lampe. Lampe photographed and art directed this shoot for the Bitter Southerner, a publication that showcases stories and people of a modern South. The article breaks down today’s Southern identity by comparing the two biggest donut chains in the region; Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts. I know it seems like a stretch, but I promise it’s a very compelling article and a great read. Check it out here.
