Mad Cow is located on the 30th floor of the Pullman Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It merges the food and design of an edgy New York-style steakhouse, with the tongue-in-cheek attitude of a casual wine bar. The main (if only) visual element that is echoed across all touchpoints is the beautifully done illustration of the Mad Cow himself, the restaurant’s mascot Maddie. Maddie graces the street signage, coasters, interior decoration, you name it, he’s there. There’s even a plush toy of him! Along with this striking illustration, a classic color palette of red, black, and white gives the restaurant a more high-end look.
