Smoked Music + BBQ Festival Branding by Tractorbeam

Smoked is an annual festival that is uniquely Dallas, showcasing the city’s best BBQ and music together for one glorious event. Tractorbeam looks like they had a lot of fun splicing imagery from these two very different categories together to create really striking and unique visuals. These hybrid animal-instruments, odd as they are, are unified in color and illustration style, making the odd combinations seem much more palatable. They used striking, patriotic shades of red, white and blue, and delightfully punny headlines to really catch the viewer’s attention. Food event design isn’t something we feature much of on GXG; after seeing the kind of amazing work that can be produced for a food festival like Smoked, I’m more inclined to go some find some more work like it.

Smoked by Tractorbeam.
