Maricú is a family-owned French artisan pastry boutique in Mexico City. The look and feel is traditionally French-inspired; open airy typographic layouts are framed by thin decorative lines, and other graphic elements feature an art nouveau-inspired font in shapes reminiscent of French metro signs. The color palette, a dark, sophisticated sea green contrasted with a brighter, more youthful teal simultaneously portrays the elegance and levity of the pastries. A fun detail not to miss is the M of the monogram; Firmalt has designed it to visually reference the Roman numeral three (III) alluding to the three generations of women that run the shop.
