I love when dessert brands get a little cheeky. Too often do sweets get regulated to the ‘these are just for kids’ mentality and lean into childlike visual tropes, with soft colors and shapes and banking on nostalgia. Melted does the exact opposite of that. It’s fresh and new and a little bit risque, the perfect late night ice cream shop. It features a diverse illustration system that is akin to tattoo flash pieces, something you don’t normally see in the ice cream space. The interiors are just as considered as it’s visual identity. It features a cacophony of textures creating a hyper-sensory experience; heavy velvet, old brick, pink glossy tiles and sweet sweet neon.
