Inspired by at-home craft cocktail making, Spirit Box is a subscription box that allows the consumer to create restaurant quality cocktails by providing recipes and techniques in addition to the ingredients needed. The logo font at first glance appears to be a classic serif typeface but when upon closer examination, there are sharp cut-outs and edges that create a modern edge to the look. Usage of deep earth tones set an intimate mood and elevate the experience; combined with the aesthetics of negative space, spaced out lettering, and the tagline of “Follow your spirit.” the consumer knows that self-expression is the name of the game.
