The Toast Office restaurant branding by Crown Creative

I was so excited to see this project roll this this morning. It’s a fun approach to an awesome food: grilled cheese sandwiches.

The team at Crown Creative took the brand name and ran with a thematic approach to the exterior architectural design. Pulling influence from the iconic Royal Mail’s post boxes, the restaurant establishes immediate connectivity between name and inspiration. The team continues their play on the post office icons with wonderfully whimsical illustrations that bolster an approachability and casual feel.

The small nature of the restaurant could be perceived as a hindrance to success. However, the inspiration that drove the name and identity gives this format purpose and memorability.

The concept is thriving and I cannot wait to see how this brand grows.
