‘Sin Remitente’ translates to ‘ without sender’, conceptually tying this mezcal as being received as an anonymous gift. And there isn’t a lot of typographic information on this bottle, adding to that mysterious feel. Instead, the place of origin of the mezcal (IE the sender), unfolds through a series of vintage stamp-inspired illustrations, each one telling more about the nature, geography, and landscape of the mezcals origin. I love this design approach; it feels nostalgic in all the right ways, and makes for an understated but still interesting visual scheme.
