Mr. George is named after the restauranteur’s father, and the brand was designed to feel warm, friendly, and homely, evoking a sense of being a guest in their upscale family home. Because the menu is based on the owner’s experience of growing up in a multi-cultural family home, the brand at certain points feels a touch eclectic and exotic.
