The Zodiac Room, as it exists today, is an homage to the original Zodiac Room at the original Neiman Marcus in Dallas. That Zodiac Room has served lunch to the elegant ladies of Texas since the 1960s. Brand Bureau reapproached the concept in a modern, New York-inspired way for the Neiman Marcus flagship at Hudson Yards. Inspired by the timeless elegance of the Neiman Marcus shopping experience, Brand Bureau re-imagined the Zodiac Room looking to the alluring night sky as a muse. Clean lines and gratuitous use of gold foil lends a high-end luxury feel to the system. It feels distinctly feminine but not in a soft, powdery kind of way.
