Little Yellow Rice Co is a Peranakan cuisine experience that brings family recipes to homes across Leeds. Turtle & Hare were faced with the challenge of creating a contemporary identity that was still representative of the rich history behind the cuisine. After extensive research into Peranakan culture and current design trends in Malaysia, they landed on a look and feel that pairs modern street-inspired type with original family photos, creating that a feel of the past crashing into the present.
