While the name may be unusual, Quality Meats serves up exactly that. It’s a New York-based steak house, but the vibe of the place is a little different from what your mom and dad are used to. AvroKO took inspiration from the iconic New York butcher shop aesthetic and created a place with an exclusive feel, but not quite so old-fashioned. Using numerous aspects of the butcher shop, AvroKO turned Quality Meats into a place with antique butcher knives for decoration and meat hook lighting throughout. Many of the design elements throughout the restaurant are vintage and the effect achieved is neighborhood butcher more so than city steak stop. AvroKO took great care to ensure everything remains posh and upscale, without falling into the same design traps and trends that are typical of high-end steak restaurants.
