James Tea Merchants Branding & Design

This work comes fresh out of Sweden where Kollor Design pulled together an impressive brand for a tea merchant retailer. The concept was pulled from the roots of tea, the English countryside. This can be seen in the typography, dark wood textures and simple color palette. Kollor walks the line between too minimal and creates a simple, yet strong brand for this tea merchant. I especially enjoy the simplicity yet poignancy of the brand logo.

James Tea Merchants is a combined tea store and deli located in the newly restored Market Hall in Lund. James offers a carefully selected range of delicious tea blends as well as other exciting gourmet and delicatessen products of the highest quality.

Kollor was assigned to create a full design concept including visual identity, naming and printed matter. The concept, which is inspired by the old English country side has been projected into everything from menus to interiors and signage.
