Cadet is a restaurant located in Montreal, Canada catering to an informal, relaxed crowd designed by lg2. Following its name, the branding has an understated military feel, using a yellow stripe (something that is worn to designate first rank on an army cadet) throughout the brand in unexpected ways. I love how simple this look is, using just two colors that create a lovely contrast and the understated utility of everything; from the blind embossed solid-color coasters and the plain yellow stripe on the sleeve of the uniform.
