The Garden is a personal, conceptual project that capture’s designer Constança Soromenho’s ideal restaurant; a garden in the city where you can eat clean, fresh food. It has a very feminine, whimsical feel. I love the contrast between the Victorian-era style illustrations of plants and animals and the amorphous pastel puddles of color. The copper foil, used sparingly on the logo in some applications and in her coaster designs, is the icing on the cake, pushing this design into the luxe level. It’s superbly executed for a personal project; not gonna lie, I thought this was real until I did more research.
