Coffeeshop, cafe, bar and dance club… Black Knob Cafe has it all, and a sleek brand by Super Magic Friend to wrap it all together. Based out of Mexico City, this gorgeous black and white visual identity is spilling over with clever visuals. The logomark is both an espresso cup and a volume knob; a designed typographic lockup for their double espresso plays on the look from Dolby Digital; even the menus look like vintage VHS boxes, complete with artificial signs of aging. It’s a simple concept expertly executed.
