Fat Chow looks more like a hoppin’ night club than a restaurant and bar with its dark interiors and gratuitous use of urban materials. Inspired by the streets of downtown Hong Kong, beautiful red neon is the only illuminator in a space where the dividers are composed of chain link fence. Eskader pushed the visual identity into the restaurant’s physical space by developing a set of wheatpasted posters modeled after common street advertisements, cheekily injecting more of that urban street-feel. The centerpiece of this brand can be found hanging from the ceiling and spanning 16 metres across the space; the dragon of their logo forever captured in glowing neon.
